这个项目计划是在BENIOPA地区建立一个体育中心，BENIOPA原是一个乡村小镇，但是由于甘迪亚市区的日益发展及城市不断扩展。而后，被并入甘迪亚市。体育中心位于BENIOPA山沟和一个叫Rocó de las Forques的小山之间。该地块差不多占据了乡镇北边一个街区一半的面积，并有连往公路的入口。本项目包括建立一个半封闭的体育馆，两个网球场，壁球场，另外还将扩建原有的城市游泳池。除此之外，还将添加一个与这些运动场所配套服务的更衣室，和几个放置中心日常维护设备的储藏室。
