对此剧院的改建是Duero银行作出的一个大胆的决定。 此歌剧院历史悠久，但是由于其保护不善，无人关心，建筑已经严重恶化。 改建方案融合了各种改建手段，拓宽了原有的剧院大厅。此厅是一个传统的意大利歌剧院厅，位置的布局都是古典的安排，舞台的圆形设计，传统的走廊设计，和舞台前的装饰都是面向观众的。顶盖部份已经修复到和当初一样的情况，以往损害和漏水的定方都已经完全修复。 其纵向基本由三个部分组成，舞台，观演厅和前厅。 该项目致力于严格遵守消防法规、人員緊急疏散、通到和都市規劃。本項目作为一个受保护的的遗产，為修復損害部份並注入新的建筑元素。
