The building for the new residence of the Ambassador in Morocco is intended as an example of Spanish architecture today, sampling different architectural elements from Spanish culture. Another objective is to adapt the original woodland, avoiding the cutting of larger trees. A significant number would be within the courtyards that open in the building. It takes into account sustainability and the environment, resulting in a solution where the question of bioclimate has primary importance. The project takes shape from the use of a classic of Spanish architecture: the patio. This project transcends the Spanish model to get closer to something more rooted in the traditions of the Arab world and, consequently, Morocco, of which there are some examples in Spanish territory as the Alhambra in Granada. |
